Victor S. Bowman, AIA, NCARB
Victor Bowman serves as director of architectural design and director of condominium services for Pendleton+Bowman (P+B) and is responsible for all architectural design projects, including resorts and both commercial and residential projects. He also directs all condominium restoration services, which include water intrusion investigation and restoration, developer turnover studies, reserve studies, waterproof wall coating and sealant design, and construction management of installation and/or reconstruction projects.
Bowman’s 35 years of architectural design of multiple building types and his many years of experience in investigating large buildings for restoration have given him a unique ability to identify and find solutions for waterproofing problems, roof and exterior wall restoration, and building systems. And his over 25 years of Gulf Coast–specific experience give him unique insight into the challenging waterproofing issues involved in the design, restoration and reconstruction of resort architecture in a difficult coastal environment.
On most projects, Bowman leads our team in conducting an initial building survey to assess the exterior health of the building and follows with recommendations to the various boards of directors for waterproofing, restoration, and door and/or window replacement.
Bowman also provides direction for the many P+B projects requiring multi-disciplined professional engineering services, including structural, mechanical and electrical engineering.
For 15 years before joining P+B, Bowman worked for Heery & Heery Architects and Engineers in Atlanta, GA. He served as an officer and sat on the board of directors of the 650-person firm. Prior to leaving in 1986, he ran the commercial practice group of 25 architects.
